the "$" is the special flag for the tween() action to identify a variable,
so the "$" should be used only there
e.g.

Source code

1
2
3
set(vara,90);
trace(vara);
tween(hotspot[sphere1].ath,$vara);
that is not working either... sphere1 still goes to zero. *sad*

I'm getting a valid info: 90 line from the trace though.

This error appear not always. Probably at first run in mozilla-based browsers.
Hi, wow, a lot of scenes and thumbs
I've tried several times, but I don't get an error, but I will try to find something...

one hint - set "enabled" to "false" for the "title" plugin, otherwise the controlling
of the pano is not possible when over the textfield area,

Quoted

it not work with %% too.
when you use "%%2C" instead of "%2C" it still doesn't work?

best regards,
Klaus

*cool*

First time I was notified about this error by my friend. I mainly use IE, so don't see such errors. Then I try to check page in all modern browsers at Win platform and has seen this error myself.

ok thanks for hint

Yes! You can check again - I set it now as "%%2C"

thanks, I see it, the problem is the "%2" inside a action,
there this is parsed as parameter
I will try to find a solution here,

best regards,
Klaus

I'm using beta 7...

"krpano 1.0.8 beta 7 (build 2009-04-08)" is what shows up in the info / debug box.

I'll put it online later tonight.

edit: Here's the sample... http://testsite.marlincreek.com/demo/tween_to_var/ttv.html

Hi all
it not work with %% too.
I could fix the problem, the next beta also allows the use of quotes (') or doublequotes (") to identify a text parameter, then also a normal comma can inside a parameter ','

showtext(get(data[scTitel_01].content), textstyle)
this will also work in the next beta, then "get(variable)" can be used everywhere as parameter

1. When I load huge amount of data into player, sometimes I get error (in Mozilla, Safari and Chrome, but no in IE)

TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference. at kflashpano::Kloader/loader_complete()
I found and could fix this problem too (this was a beta 7 only problem)

set(vara,90); trace(vara); tween(hotspot[sphere1].ath,$vara);
this was fixed too

now I will finish the distorted hotspots and the video plugin and release the next beta,
should be ready soon

best regards,
Klaus

setarea(x,y,width,height) action to set the panorama area

  • NOTE - EXPERIMENTAL!
  • only pixel values can be used yet
  • can be used but there is no guarantee that this action will be stay in this way also in future release
I was playing around with this... and I like it. Opens up some interesting possibilities.

My question is... how do you place things like plugins outside of the pano area. I tried using neg values just to see what happened... and the plugin moves off the pano and out of view.

I understand it's experimental... so, maybe this isn't possible yet.

am i guessing that this means you could set the internal area a pano would run in? in essense you could make it run at 80% hieght and width and have a black border around it to place the plugins? if that is the case would it evet be possible to run to separate panos in the same stage? side by side half a screen each? that would be interesting.

<textstyle> "fadetime" parameter:

A fadein action could be useful too !

Specially to display several showtext one after the other

Hi,

Quoted

onkeydown / onkeyup / "keycode"

* keyboard events
* check the current press key via the "keycode" variable
* KEYBOARD EXAMPLE

Actually, it's a little bit complicated to use this feature.

For example, If you want to change an action of one key, you have to set all the others keys too in the action.

I think a submenu (or sub-xml, or whatever :-) ) like for the contextmenu could be perfect for this feature

Hi, you could use user-defined variables for the keycodes and then change only them

e.g.

Source code

1
2
3
4
5
set(fullsceenkey, 70);

...

if(keycode == fullscreenkey, set(fullscreen,true); );
