Hi Klaus,
I followed the stereo3D tutorial and did a SBS viewer on a 3D projector. Since the screen was splitted into 2, each of the window shows a viewport at the desired FOV. Although the splitted image was squeezed horizontally (when compared with the mono-vision QTVR, the door became narrower), but the 3D image seems became over stretched horizontally (fat) on 3DTV or projector, and it was not a natual look. The Rift version have no problem, but we want to put it on a 3D big screen to wow more auidence. Can we do something quick on krpano script to make the scene look more normal on the 3DTV? simply changing the FOV do not fix the issue.
btw, for the gyro control, it there a way to lock the roll factor? user enjoy changing the FOV by rotating their headset, but rolling the phone is not a pleasant expierence on the 3D screen. Thanks.
Here is the xml file I used:
<krpano>
<view fovtype="VFOV" fov="90" fovmin="30" fovmax="150" />
<contextmenu fullscreen="false" />
<plugin name="gyro" devices="html5" url="gyro.js" enabled="false" camroll="true" friction="0" velastic="0"
onloaded="switch(plugin[gyro].enabled);"
/>
<events onmousedown="set(syncother,true); events.onviewchange();"
onmousewheel="events.onmousedown();"
onviewchange="if(syncother, if(side == left, js( sync_1to2() ); , js( sync_2to1() ); ); );"
/>
