It looks like the 1.17 binary for 64-bit linux requires glibc 2.4, which isn't available on Centos6. Centos 6 uses 2.12.
Could you provide a static binary possibly? Or include the dylibs in your deliverable?
Please advise.
Thanks!
Alan

I'm also in this situation and could really use static binaries.
Likewise, I am on a RackSpace server running Redhat 6 which has GLIBC 2.12 and the hosting company doesn't want to upgrade this as 2.12 is apparently still the version being issued by Redhat themselves.

I really need an answer to this! The hosting company say that they can't upgrade the server from GLIBC 2.12 to anything later. Is there a workaround? Does krpanotools actually need anything from GLIBC that's only in the versions later than 2.12? This is a showstopper as far as I am concerned.
Hi,
I'm already planing to make a special build (command line tools only) for older Linux systems, but this will need some time. A lot of code need to be rewritten to be compilable there and the priority for this very special need can't be the very highest one of course.
Best regards,
Klaus
Please see here for a test version with GLIBC 2.4 as minium:
