US Patent Impacting Virtual Tour Creators

    I just found this US patent on Google and am quite concerned: http://www.google.com/patents/US20140189477

    Not clear on whether it has already been granted.

    Looks like an "invention" that for the most part already existed and probaby impacts several in this forum. Haven't many of you already embedded YouTube videos or other 3rd party web content in your virtual tours for quite some time? Anyone have any thoughts on this or know anything more about it?

    It's written pretty poorly and almost incomprehensible and has a lot of filler junk most likely to confuse the patent reviewer.

    I can sort of thing what its trying to do which is nothing more than a password to edit content. The rest of the stuff is just to obfuscate this fact.

    On the brightside, Carrington is well respected in the community and I believe there shouldn't be anything to worry about.
