Regenerate tour.xml without regenerating tiles?

  • I feel like I'm missing something simple here, but can't seem to figure it out.

I have a tour that is 1000+ scenes, and has very high resolution imagery. After generating the tour and tiles with the appropriate droplet, I often realize I need to make an edit to each scene (complex edits that can't be easily done with regex, etc).
Question: Is there a way to regenerate the tour.xml *WITHOUT* having to reprocess all the imagery? The Tiling takes a good 4 hours, and I don't want to have to sit through that every time I update the view/scene/hotspot templates that the makepano tool uses to construct the tour.xml.

In the past, I've made a set of dummy imagery that is a single color, and smaller dimensions, and then used the droplet to generate the tour. I'll then go into the tour.xml and do a find/replace to update the tile dimensions.
This works, but is a bit of a pain.
Any easier way to accomplish this?

    Thanks
