Is it possible to view simultaneously panorama and flat image in krpano?
Flat zoomable image over panorama
-
-
how do you mean that?
-
Ok, I see there is no way to use two krpano engines at one time. may be it will be possible in next krpano version when it becomes an external application?
-
you could open the flat image in a thickbox on top of the exsisting pano. or just load the flat in the same stage and flip back and forth with some actions.

I've only done a very crude preliminary test of this but the following outline might help if you don't want to zoom too far in/out of your flat image.
If your flat image is not going to be too big and you don't need to zoom in too much then you could load your flat image as a plugin and then use the "onmousewheel" event to trigger a zoom (scale) action for the plugin.
rough outline:
button 1 (used to initially load the flat image plugin)
- onclick
- set freezeview to true (blocks interaction with the pano layer)
- show flat image
- set onmousewheel to trigger zoom / scale actionzoom / scale action
- if wheeldelta + tween scale from 1 to 2 (or your desired scale) else wheeldelta will be - and you can tween from 2 back to 1When closing the flat image plugin you will need to...
- close plugin
- set freezeview to false
- clear the onmousewheel event so that it doesn't keep triggering the zoom / scale action (not sure how to do this).Sorry that I can't provide a working code sample right now.

Crazy idea, Graydon!
But I think it can work.P.S. I wrote own image viewer.

If your flat image is not going to be too big
What, if my flat image is too big?
I have a problem as firefoxer too -
N'drew,
1. You could ask firefoxer for his image viewer (but do not be offended if your request is declined... it just happens sometimes)
2. You might be able to load a "lightbox" / "thickbox" style window over the pano for your flat image. There's a thread on the forum for thickbox that you might try searching for.
Sorry I don't have more.

is this what you want to do?
http://www.virtualnorthland.com/panos/flagship/61prop/
click 'lake view' to load the flat image.

Graydon,
I made built-in viewer only for my tour application, it's not universal. But it's easy to code own simple image loader that fits your needs (zooming, progressive loading, etc).

It's nearly. How you made it ?
