plugin event for new panorama

Recently i purchased Krpano and i find it really great. I added a custom thunbnail gallery on the player as a plugin in order to change from one panorama to an other. I also added google maps plugin with spot for each panorama. In my thumbnail gallery i would like to add an event using the AS3 krpano Interface in order to select the appropriate thumbnail each time a user clicks on a google maps spot and changes the panorama. Is it possible?

Hi,

there is currently no event for this, but you could easily add a own AS3 function
and call it after the loadpano() call,

e.g. in AS3 - register/add a own function:

Source code

1
2
3
4
5
6
7
8
krpano.set("panochanged", panochanged);

...

function panochanged(any_paramter:String):void
{
  krpano.trace(0,"panochanged was called with " + any_paramter);
}

and call this function from the xml with:

Source code

1
... onclick="loadpano(...);panochanged(hello);" ...

or

Source code

1
2
3
4
5
6
... onclick="action(loadpano1);" ...

<action name="loadpano1">
	loadpano(...);
	panochanged(hello);
</action>

there are many ways/possibilities to make such with AS3, this is just one example

best regards,
Klaus

Hi Klaus,

Is there now a custom event now when loading a new pano ?

It could be useful for several plugins I'd like to create.

I know I can handle it with some XML function like the examples above, but I'd like to make it XML-independent (plugin for statistics for instance ... ) !

In 1.0.8 beta 9 maybe ? *cool*

Thanks

something like

Source code

1
krpano.addPluginEventListener(this, krpano_as3_interface.XML_UPDATE,  onNewXml);

could be gorgeous :-)
