Hi,

try starting Chrome with local file access enabled/allowed and try opening the simulator there.

See here for how to start Chrome this way:

In developer menu you can choose - "inactivate limitations for local files" Just uncheck as in the image here. Uncheck that and simulator works in safari. Hope someone finds this useful.
