Hi All, It has been a really long time since I posted in here and hope you guys can help. I am looking to create a quite fast paced automatic tour. On the click of a button, for example, the user will be taken down a corridor, turn left, continue down that corridor, turn right then stop outside a door. Think of a hotel, going from reception to a bedroom. There will not be more than 1 or 2 seconds in each scene until reaching the destination. The tour has been shot with equally spaces panos to ma...
Hi to2hov, I really like your pano, very slick. I have tested it in 1920 x 1200 and it is OK, could be smoother. I was experimenting some time ago with animated swf hotspots but I found that they made the rendering of the pano itself less smooth. I was trying a more complex effect than your simple (but very effective) hotspots but I gave up because I was never happy with the over all performance. If I were you I'd try removing the hotspots and see if it still runs poorly on your 1920 x 1080 scre...
Hi Klaus, Thanks very much for suggested code, I will give this a try and let you know. Thanks. T12
Hi Klaus, Thanks for the clarification. If the onresize is called when a new pano loads is there any way I can call an action when the pano is resized that does not use the onresize event? Thanks for your help. T12 PS. Thanks to VN2009 and jpdeglet69 for their confirmations.
Hi VN2009, Thanks for your response. I don't have a link available at the moment but I will have by the end of the week. I will post it as soon as I have it and hope your offer to assist is still open. Thanks. T12
Hi all, It's been a while since I posted but I have a bit of a problem that I hope someone can help with. I have a tour with multiple scenes and I want to run an action on the onresize event. However, when the user clicks a hotspot and the scene changes it appears that my onresize action is executed. Is it that the onresize event runs automatically when a new scene is loaded? If so has anyone found a way to get round it so that my action only runs when the pano is actually resized? Thanks for yo...
Hi there, I think your tour is very good. Great quality. I notice that you have disabled movement until the full pano has loaded. I can understand why you have done this but I personally would like to look around even if it is not fully loaded. Great minimalist interface. Excellent. T12
Hi Manuel, I think your tours are fantastic. Your photography is superb and the quality of both tours is very high. The palace is a beautiful place. It is a little bit slow to load in the UK but worth the wait. Keep up the good work. T12
Hi Laurent, I really like your tour. The location is bautiful and makes we want to go and visit! Nice seamless tripod removal, no sign of shadows or anything. Great tour and location, I for one was fully immersed. I would consider creating custom control icons and hotspots but they don't detract from a great tour. Thanks for sharing with us. T12
Hi bri999, I think the pano head you built looks very strong and well made and you definitely have engineering skill. In the blog post I saw that you used the new head to create a Gigapixel image, I'd love to see the pano that this formed as I also make large 360 x 180 gigapixel panos and I'm always keen to see similar works. Thanks. T12
Hi Fellipe, Excellent tour, great photography and a skin/interface that totally suits the subject matter. Great work. T12
I agree with MDS. They will never be able to deliver the quality of work that specialist panographers(?) can. They wouldn't undertake all the special features that KRpano allows its users to create either such as floorpnas, embedded video and sound etc. Equally, what benefit will a shop keeper get from a low rez pano in their shop? True they would get some exposure but the user would not be able to engage in the product range or anything of any sales benefit to the shopkeeper. In retail at least...
Excellent work Fellipe. Photography is really sharp and the lighting is great. Really well put together. Thanks. T12
Hi Jarredja, You are right, it was a different site. I just signed up with a different user name and it worked. It is the same software and not much seems to have changed, not that I can see. Let us know Bocaguy. I'd be interested on hearing other peoples views about the sotware from users of the forum. Thanks. T12
Hi Bocaguy, I had a look at this a few weeks back when you first posted about it. I commented that I didn't think it would help me because it would not speed up my pano process and was too expensive. I notice that you have taken the pricing down off the site, have you made the product more affordable too? My trial has expired now but I'd be keen to know if you had ironed out the unintuitive interface and found a more powerful way of adding hotspots? Thanks. T12
Hi Milo, Thanks for the positive feedback. I have answered your private message. Thanks. T12
Hi Klaus, I've just voted to push forward with Flash10 only. Usually I'm all for catering for older plugins/browsers to accommodate more users but for me at least it is simple: With KRpano tours on my website I am promoting them as something special (which I think they are) and as such if some users have to perform a tiny upgrade then so be it; they will be better for it anyway. Already you create killer features that are genuinly useful to me and if going Flash10 only means the features will be...
Hi there, I really like the panos. Unusual to see the reportage/documentary subject matter. The little planet loader is far too slow at the beginning and it does not suit this style of serious pano, better to get straight in. In my opinion anyway. Great work and excellent high ISO night photography. Look forward to seeing more. Thanks. T12
Thanks Ma, I'm glad you like the kitchen doors opening and closing feature. The client was very happy with it but it was quite fiddly to set up. Thanks for your feedback. T12
Hi Ma, I think this is a great tour. Photography is VERY sharp and bright. Innovative interface. Brilliant. Thanks. T12
