Zitat von »dreamcutter« Zitat von »philkrom« I am using VR since 2014 with Oculus DK1 and DK2 with Krpano tours. But I recently bought an HTC Vive, and if someone could explain the way I can display a tour on this device, it would be very helpfull. Best regards ! You need Steam, SteamVR and browser with WebVR-support (Chromium or Firefox Nightly). https://webvr.info/ Thanks for the answer, I already tried doing this, explained in this article https://github.com/Web-VR/iswebvrready/w…Vive-on-Win...

Little bit more explanations : using a marker like this one, the bottom pointing on a location. I make this action : onover="tween(scale,1.5);" Works well, but scale origin is top center, so the bottom of the marker moves. I would prefer scale origin to be bottom center, so the marker keeps pointing to the same place. Sure it is very easy, but I can't find how Hope you can help !
Hi On this tour http://static.zooomez.fr/vr/fontfr/ To launch VR I have to click twice : 1st time on the glasses in the toolbar 2nd time on the larger glasses Why 2 clicks ? Is there any way to enter VR mode with only ONE click (in the toolbar) ? Hope you can help ! Best regards !
Zitat von »gputhige« I have now developed a Template to convert krpano into an app to be uploaded to Google Play store. This is in Android Studio and any Krpano tour can be converted to an App by changing some parameters in Android Studio and loading the tour folder into it. I wish to make this available as a plugin on sale for commercial purposes. No programming knowledge is required, but the user should have Android Studio installed in his/her system. Hi gputhige ! Very interested in your tem...
Zitat von »klaus.krpano« The Chromium builds don't include proprietary codecs like MP3 or MP4. For good cross-browser support always include also Ogg-audio files as MP3 alternative and WebM-video files as MP4 alternative. Best regards, Klaus Thanks Klaus ! Another issue... This presentation : http://static.zooomez.fr/vr/narb/vvvr works fine on a Samsung Note3, S4 mini, Oculus rift... But on a Galaxy S6 there is a permanent trembling of the image, as if the gyro would be much too sensitive. And ...
Hi everybody On this (draft) VR tour http://static.zooomez.fr/cl/esp-ocul/index.html, including sound, I get this error message using Chromium (Version 44.0.2383.0) However it works fine using Chrome. So the sound doesn't work in VR... If someone has an idea ? Best regards
Zitat von »urke« I'm trying to make this work with Samsung Gear VR innovator edition for S6. Using force I am able to press the phone (nearly) into place without connecting the USB, but it's not something I would recommend people to do. There is a chance something will break, and it's very obvious not the preferable solution. Is there any simple way to bypass Samsungs autolaunch of the Oculus VR app, so the phone can be mounted and connected in a normal way? Also, what is the recommended browse...
Hi everybody This tour - based on klaus examples - works fine on webvr browsers and mobile devices. http://static.zooomez.fr/medias/vr/showreel-ET11+aero/vvvr But as you can see, there are lot of images (hotpsots) and people often open a pano by mistake, they only wanted to enlarge the image to read the text at the bottom but they stay too long on the photo and the pano opens. So I would like to do the following, which I am sur is not too complicated : If someone points on a photo, it is scaled ...
Hi ! A am using KRpano with VR devices for a while, months before it was implemented in 1.19. I am using a Samsung Note3, and have noticed that if the (source) equi is 17000x8500, it is not as "fluid" as if the equi is 5000x2500. As you can't zooomin in VR mode, it should be to force VR mode to use "lowres" tiles, and so get a better VR experience ? Best regards, hope someone can help me...
Hi everybody At first, my Oculus Rift works fine with Win10. If Have installed Chromium, enabled VR. But it seems this tour doesn't work in VR mode : http://static.zooomez.fr/cl/pech-cel/index.html If I click the cardboard icon, it turns fullscreen, without controlbar or anything else. After a few seconds, it turns back to the non VR tour. Do I am wrong ? Any idea ? I have to make a demo tomorrow, on a win10 computer, any help welcome !
Zitat von »klaus.krpano« the WebVR API has changed - pr1 doesn't work anymore in newer Chrome and Firefox builds, pr2 or pr3 need to be used. the WebVR support is behind a flag in the newer Chrome versions and need to be activated manually - enter 'chrome://flags/#enable-webvr' in the Chromium WebVR build and active it. Thanks a lot, it works fine with chromium. A question : is there any way to "convert" a pr1 tour to a PR3 tour without rebuilding it entirely ? I mean, only replace and/or modif...
Hi everybody. I didn't use my Oculus with krpano since months, and I don't understand why, but ir doesn't work anymore Exactly as if oculus would not be connected... The tour I want to display was made with KRP 1.19 pr1, but I have tried with a pr2 and pr3 without success. Here it is : http://static.zooomez.fr/medias/vr/badep….xml&html5=only I have tried Klaus examples and Jerome's Paris VR, same problem. Chromium version is Chromium_WebVR_Win_SDK_0.5.0.1 Downloaded here : https://drive.google.c...
Bravo Klaus, thanks a lot for this fantastic new release :-)
Hi I have made a vr demo tour including 56 panoramas on this link http://static.zooomez.fr/medias/vr/badepl/vvvr for a demo tomorrow friday with more than 100 people working in tourism. As you can see, I have 56 thumbnails on the menu, and every thumb is "active", I mean when the cursor is over, it opens the pano after a few seconds. And it is not really easy for a "newbie to vr" to "slalom" between the thumbs to choose the one you want to open... Would there be a way to make that only a portion...
Zitat von »klaus.krpano« Quoted from "philkrom" Have you tried other WebVR demos? How do they perform? Same thing with Jerome's Paris VR. Hehe - a classic misunderstanding - with 'other WebVR demos' I mean other 'non-krpano' WebVR demos - e.g. like this Quake WebVR demo: http://media.tojicode.com/q3bsp/ I have tried Quake web Gl, very low framerate (about 10-11 in fullscreen). But I have found a solution ! I actually have 2 graphics cards : an intel (on the motherboard, connected to 2 screens) ...
Zitat von »klaus.krpano« What GPU do you have? GTX275, an old GPU, but the rift apps are much more fluid than my panos... As far as I remember, sometimes panos are very well displayed, and sometimes not. I have updated my graphics drivers, maybe I should try an older version. Zitat von »klaus.krpano« Have you tried other WebVR demos? How do they perform? Same thing with Jerome's Paris VR. Zitat von »klaus.krpano« Btw - great tour! Thanks for your "great tour" mention, very honored. I have anoth...
Hi everybody ! Here is my first try with krpano 1.19, a short demo : http://zooomez.fr/test/krpano-1.19-pr1/v….xml&html5=only It works with Oculus DK2 and Chromium, but jerky as if I had a 10 fps framerate... Though lot of apps work well with my oculus. It was much more fluid with the npvr Chrome extension. I don't know if there is something wrong in my config or if it is because of the "refresh" mentionned by Klaus. I would be interested if some of you could give me their feedback with other VR...
Zitat von »jeromebg« Zitat von »philkrom« Could you please share a link ? http://d8d913s460fub.cloudfront.net/krpa…vr.xml?v=119pr1 So dummy I am... Of course, thanx Jerôme
Hi Klaus, congratulations for this AMAZING release The online example on this link : http://d8d913s460fub.cloudfront.net/krpa…x.html?v=119pr1 is not the same as the one within the downloadable package : http://krpano.com/download/download.php?file=krpano119pr1win I would be interested if I coud get the krpano_vr.xml file of the online example. Could you please share a link ? Best regards Philippe
