Small question: Is there a way, how a hotspot could open a gallery in the scroll mode (large images) with a specific gallery image, When galleries are opend like this, they always seem to open at the first image, but for my current pupose it would be necessary to open a specific image either based on its name (or if not passible otherwise based on its index). How can I achive this?
Just wanted to grab the latest version of the gallery, but it seem the downloadpage is down resp. cant be reached.
Hmm, VR mode does not seem to work in the Oculus browser and Oculus Quest (again). Is this a general problem or am I doing something wrong? I guess it wont be a bug of krpano, but once again Oculus who have created a mess. As before when there where problems with the Oculus broweser everything is working fine in the Firefox Reality browser.

Zoom demo updated The zoom demo has been updated to use krpano 1.20.8 and a bunch of new features have been implemented as well. Zooming into the images and switch from one image to another is now possible using the thumb stick on the vr headset controllers. Multiresolution is now properly working as well when zooming in. A few things still need a little work, e.g. the controllers resp. their hotspots are still far to sensitive in higher zoom level. Still havent figured out how to fix this.
Unfortunately the code of my demo is still broken due to some problems with the 1.20.7 version. I'll try to update this to 1.20.8 soon to make this working again. I also hope that the zooming will now load the highres tiles when the pano is view in a real VR headset (I'm using a Oculus Quest), but I might still need to experiment a bit on this. I also found the approach for the Tokyo zoom demo kind of disconcerting and iritating, but the version with the binocular works quite well and feels rath...

Hi Brian Yes, I know it is not working anymore. There are 2 things I'm aware of: The browser of the Quest has been upgraded a while ago and does now need krPano 1.20.7 to display the panos in vr.For reason I dont understand the webvr.zoom options doesnt work in 1.0.7 in the oculus browser. Hi folks I'm still playing around with the zoom option of webvr. Zooming works nicely if I set the zoom option, but krpano just seems to display the vr images all the time and never loads the tiles with the more details. What do I have to do, to make krpano resp. the webvr plugin to load those detail tiles? Any hints are appreciated. Thanks.

The panos look phantastic in VR and the immersion in the scene is great, but I soon missed a option to have a closer look at the details of the scenes. Now I just need to find out how to convice Panotour to export the xml fiels without encryption (yes, I have entered the license details for the registration and Panotour says that it is happy with the registration information), but maybe it is time anyway to move on anyway and leave panotour behind.
Hi Klaus The tour editor in the krPano tools is quite handy, but polygonal hotspot editing is unfortuntely missing. In particular for tours within buildings they seem to be a better choice than the arrows we get in the editor. Do you have any plans to add polygonal hotspots in the near future?
Hi I just discovered the update possibility for Panotoour Pro. Unfortunately I only have PanoTour Pro 2.5 and not 2.5.14. Is the update package really only working with the 2.5.14 version or is there a trick or hack to make it work with PanoTour 2.5 as well? I tried to update my PanoTour Pro to 2.5.14 this morning, but I could not find a download since the jerks at GoPro have killed the old download server. This sounds very interesting. I'd be happy to give the plugin a try even if the editor is not yet (fully) working. Kind of prefer to work in xml anyway, at least if the xml paras somehow documented. The price would be OK for me as well, if the plugin is really doing what I want it to do. Hovever I have a few question, before I can integrate the plugin: Is it possible to open a gallery also from javascript, e.g. something like show_gallery(galleryname)? For tours, can galleries also be defined outside of the scenes, so they can be used from more than one scene or that they can be called through javascript from the map plugin (tested this successfully with the swipe gallery)? Currently krPanotools cant convert a partialcylinder pano into a cube and its tiles. Due to this it is not possible to display partialcylinderpanos using the html5 viewer. However krPanotools is able to do this transformation for cylinder panos covering 360°. At the moment I'm working around this limitation by adding black areas to the left an right of my partialcylinder panos to get enough width to cover the full 360° so the pano can be converted and displayed (after a bit of tweaking of the xm...
Habe eine Art Workaround für das Problem mit den partialcylindrical Panos gefunden. Ich setze nun links und rechts des Bildes genug schwarze Fläche ein damit das Panobild so breit wird, dass dies den vollen 360° entspricht. Dieses Bild kann per Dropplet ohne Probleme umgewandelt und auch vom html5 Viewer angezeigt werden. Nach dem Umwandeln sind allerdings noch kleine Anpassungen am xml File notwendig/sinnvoll.
