Error message trying to change the startup view for a pano in the krpanotools

Hi, the error is strange... Have you manually replaced the krpano.js in the 'viewer' folder with a custom (and maybe protected) one? Best regards, Klaus

krpano, registered with php, watermark appears untimely, serious bug?

Hi, the tools itself are stable, the problem is server related. Normally the registration should be necessary only ONCE. Registering again is only necessary when constantly running on different servers or when the server is cleaning up/reseting its whole environment. Try setting the $HOME environment variable to a path where you can ensure that the server will not change anything and have constant access. Best regards, Klaus

Definierte Scene starten (2 Varianten)

Hi, das loascene im onstart hier: Source code 1 onstart="loadscene(scene_AAA);" funktioniert nicht, da es hier in der startup Action noch ein loadscene gibt: Source code 1 2 if(startscene === null OR !scene[get(startscene)], copy(startscene,scene[0].name); ); loadscene(get(startscene), null, MERGE); Wenn eine andere Default-Start-Szene verwendet werden soll, dann nur diesen Teil anpassen: Source code 1 if(startscene === null OR !scene[get(startscene)], copy(startscene,scene[0].name); ); z.B. zu:...

Vtour makes only 2 images (instead of 9)

Hi, Quoted from "Emilien" All my pictures are flat panorama, so I think they should be all considered as cylinder, right? Yes, sphere or cylinder images with a hfov <= 1.0 are considered as FLAT panos. Quoted from "Emilien" I changed the HFOV value to 1 and calculated the VFOV accordingly so that the ratio stays the same and... it's working now Just as note - setting VFOV would be not necessary, it would also get calculated automatically based on the image-aspect and the image-type. Quoted from ...

Weiterentwicklung KR Pano

Vtour makes only 2 images (instead of 9)

Hi, the current version doesn't support multiresolution sphere and cylinder images that have a hfov larger than 1.0 in the HTML5 viewer. That's also the reason why the tools are adding devices="flash" to such images. When trying to load such panos, there will be only a warning in the log, nothing more. That means there will be also no oncomplete event and so the 'loading...' layer from the skin doesn't get hidden. But there will be very soon a new krpano version and there multiresolution sphere ...

Chrome 70.0.3538.77 breaks KRPano touch functionality

Hi, Firefox has a different reason:…led-on-desktop/ There some properties that were used for detecting touch-support were removed on desktop devices because some 'Chrome-optimized' sites were using it wrongly as mobile-detection... Here the above workaround with Firefox support: Source code 1 2 3 navigator.pointerEnabled = navigator.maxTouchPoints > 0; // Edge 17 touch support workaround document.documentElement.ontouchstart = ((navigator.userAgent.indexO...

krpano 1.19-pr15 / pr16

Hi, Quoted I have test Mac OS Catalina. Krpano tools and Server doesn’t work. Other things is ok. That's because these two apps are 32-bit apps and OSX 10.15 doesn't support 32-bit anymore. There will be soon a new krpano version, and there all apps are 64-bit. Best regards, Klaus

onviewchanged event

Hi, you could set a flag before changing the view and check for that flag in the onviewchanged event... e.g. Source code 1 2 3 4 set(view_changed_by_code, true); set(view...); ... onviewchanged="if(!view_changed_by_code, ...); set(view_changed_by_code,false);" Best regards, Klaus

Default protocol as parameter transfer problem

Hi, note - the %NN is text-placeholder! so the: Source code 1 trace(%1); becomes: Source code 1 trace(//; and '//' is a comment, so the final code will be just: Source code 1 trace( That's invalid code and breaks the following actions, but the trace itself gets called. If you want to avoid that problem, either quote the parameter: Source code 1 trace('%1'); or better use a localscope action and argument variables: Source code 1 2 3 <action name="test" scope="local" args="msg"> trace(g...

Oculus GO & KRpano

Quoted Curiously, Pano2VR tours don't seem to be affected by the bug. I was also wondering why other software wasn't affected, but then I have checked the reason: In WebGL rendering the 'canvas' (that's where all will be rendered into) needs to be set to a certain pixel-size. In code that's just: Source code 1 2 canvas.width = targetwidth; canvas.height = targetheight; But then - the system is not always able to render in that size, e.g. older systems are sometimes limited to 2048x2048 and also...

Oculus GO & KRpano

Hi, just as note - the latest Oculus Browser update from yesterday has broken the VR rendering that browser. It's a browser bug and reported here: As manual workaround for the moment add this line in the webvr.xml anywhere: Source code 1 <events webvr_onentervr="set(display.framebufferscale,0.9); delayedcall(0.1, tween(display.framebufferscale,1.0); );" /> The next krpano release will have an internal workaround for that bug. Best regards, K...

EMERGENCY ! Krpano VR not working anymore on Safari

Hi, since iOS 12.2 the gyro usage is disabled by default and would need to enabled manually in the Safari setting. Please see here for more: accelerometer/gyroscope sensor access disabled -> will Cardboard VR still work on iOS 12.2? With the next krpano release and iOS 13 this problem will be solved. iOS 13 provides a new permission API for the gyro-usage and the next krpano release is using that. Best regards, Klaus

Change logo size in VR mode

About your code - that would be the correct syntax: Source code 1 2 webvr_onentervr="set(layer[skin_logo].scale,0.1);" webvr_onexitvr="set(layer[skin_logo].scale,1.0);" But normally layers are getting hidden when in VR mode. Your's is only keeping showing-up because of the vr="true" setting you have added. But note - in 'real' WebVR (not the Cardboard fallback) all layers are always hidden when being in VR mode. That's because there only WebGL content is possible and layers are HTML, not WebGL. ...
