Great done.

If I were you I should use HDR shootings, to obtain more detais (there is a lot of burned or under exposed area du to the lights used in the cave).

Apart of this, go on you are working well.

Excellent job creating something more original.
Did you use continuous light or strobes?
How did you power the lighting? Battery pack?

I'm not sure he use any external lighting system, just shoot long exposure it's why there is over exposed area.
In thisa kind of situation HDR should be use.
