making panoramas

I've downloaded the files to attempt to make panoramas with no success. I'm sure its probably a simple error on my part, but to clarify;
  1. I take a series of images, which I stitch to make a panorama;
  2. Dragging this image onto the shortcut made to the kmakemultires as per the tutorial didn't work
  3. Re-read the instructions, and I think I have to use the kmaketiles to make the tiles from the stitched panorama first, and then drag those images to the kmakemultires to make to panorama, files etc?
  4. Trying various ways has brought no success so far.
Can someone say whether stitching a panorama, then dragging it to a shortcut, or kmaketiles then another function is the correct way of proceeding please? *unsure*

Hi,

currently the kmakemultires Tool supports only 360x180 pano images:
either as Cube (6 images with 1:1 aspect) or as Sphere (1 image with a 2:1 aspect),

was this maybe the problem?

best regards,
Klaus

Hi Klaus

so the full instructions for making panoramas is:

  1. I take a series of jpegs
  2. Stitch them into a panorama
  3. Cut this panorama into a series of 360x180 pano images
  4. Drag these images to the kmakemultires shortcut for it to automatically make the panorama, html and xml etc?

Not sure if I have the software to make the images required *sad* Can I make a feature request? A krpano image stitcher/tile cutter ;-)
