krpano 1.0.8 beta 9 (Viewer & Tools)

Hi,

there are new 1.0.8 beta 9 viewer and tools packages online:

http://krpano.com/download/

it includes:
- updated viewer
- updated plugins
- updated examples
- updated tools

here a link to a collection of some of the new examples:
http://krpano.com/examples/108b9/

Update 2010-03-07:
  • if() - negative values compare fix
  • path bugfixes
  • distorted hotspot url changing fix
  • new "bgcolor" setting/variable for drawing a single colored background shape
    • when set to a valid color number (e.g. 0xFFFFFF for white), then a single colored background will be rendered
    • when not set or to an invalid number, no background will be rendered (=transparent for flash)
    • this also allows correct blending of flat/partial panos and
    • controlling a flat pano with the mouse outside of the pano area will be possible too with it

best regards,
Klaus

Hey Klaus!
I found mistakes in your releasenotes (marked with red):

Quoted

- <progress>
- new "showreloads" parameter (possible values - "true" or "false")
- controls if the progress bar should also be shown after the
first complete loading, default="false"
- e.g. <progress showreloads="false" />

Hi Klaus,

May I ask if we can download a physical example folder of the above, which contain details of the tools like html, xml, etc, which will serve as a guide to a beginner like me. I am a programmer by example. btw APT is also improving. There is where I start and revised it with krpano's technique.

Best regards.

WAOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
Back after 2 weeks.
*w00t* What a good surprise!!! *thumbsup*

Go on.

(just a recurrent question for Klauss, I have read that you would implement a 360 VR object capabilities for the next release, I think 1.0.9, is it always on your mind? Coz I need this kind of think and I don't know if it's better to wait your tool, or to begin with an other thing)

Problems... *confused*

Anyone having problems embedding with this version?
I don't know if it's just me, but I'm having issues with this one.
After embedding with kprotect (as always), my swf won't open. (even using the build 2010-02-21 krpano.swf) Loading error of my xml...
Back to the 1.0.8 beta 9 (build 2010-01-13) and everything's fine!

I have one startup XML, with just 10 lines of code, then 2 others XML included from the startup XML.
Using MacPro Snow Leopard.
I'm using japanese characters in the code (for showtext, but it worked so far, see no reason why it shouldn't work anymore).
By the way the same problem happened with the version just before (build 2010-02-19 or 18, don't remember). And it works perfectly with the 2010-01-13 version.

that should be ready soon in the next (beta) release,

Hi Klaus,

One question about your imagegallery :

I try to make an action which hide the thumbar AND the images, but I can't find the right code...

Source code

1
2
3
4
 <action name="end">
 action(thumbbar_hide_allimages);
 set(plugin[thumbbar].visible,false);
</action>

I try some set setting, but always my images stay on my screen, I just can make the thumbar visible=""false" ... Can U help for an action which close all the thumbar and images too!

Thanks and GREAT update,

AGRID
