license and folder

This is a screen capture of ONE folder for ONE panorama that was put through the multires process. You notice that the SWF file and the license ARE in the same folder, and also named the exact same. So, can anybody please explain why I keep getting a license error online???

Hi,

are you maybe using an IIS webserver?

e.g. try opening the link to the license file direct,
like - hxxp://yourserver.com/path/krpano.license

when you get an error link this:


then you have an IIS webserver!

then please have a look here:
http://krpano.com/docu/iisservers/

the best solution would be here either to rename the license file like in the link above,
or to use the kprotect tool and build a swf file with an embedded license,
e.g.
  1. start the kprotect tool
  2. selected the path to the licenses (on the first start and when they are not in the tools folder)
  3. add the domains where your swf should be running (via the "Add Domain" button)
  4. press the "Generete Protected File" button and save the new .swf file
  5. use in this .swf file instead of the krpano.swf and change the name/path in the html file for it
