Krpano on Iphone/Ipad ???

Hi Klaus,

Just a question ;) Do you have any plan for future of krpano on iPhone and iPad ? More and more people are using Apple while Apple won't support flash. *question*

krpano is a flash app it will never run on iphone/ipad. it would have to be quicktime or java which would then remove the ability to create hotspots and video and everything else that is cool about flash tours.

hmm i am wondering how you can do this. i read that apple with the new 4.0 OS will not allow any apps that create a buffer layer to allow flash to run. even creating something that allows flash to run is illegal. that being said i still hope you can do it.

This can be done with the css 3d transformations that are supported in webkit + JavaScript to handle the multitouch interface. I'm looking forward to Klaus's implementation which will hopefully handle multilevel and hotspots!

are you kidding??????? After having read the enormous thread in the PanotoolsNG about Steve Jobs no-flash statement this would certainly make KRPano unbeatable :-)

When enough people update to browser versions that support the HTML5 implementations of Canvas, video, and audio you will be able to implement something similar using javascript and asynchronous requests ( AJAX / JASON ). Microsoft has implemented Seadragon using javascript AJAX to serve tiles for partial spherical panoramas.

Not to sound unappreciative, believe me, I truly appreciate this new capability BUT do you have an interface planned to switch between panos without using the back function?

Soon?

Edit: I don't even need an answer. I know you will develop this further and will release features as they become available. Check your bank acct., you got my money. *thumbsup*

Hi, yes, I have planed to implement hotspots/plugin images and the krpano actions (e.g. onclick, loadpano, ...),
it will work like the flash viewer, the same xml/code can be used,

best regards,
Klaus
