Hi again,
I can see where your going with it, there is probably a market for it.
I suppose it just wouldn't suit me and probably many of the members in this forum because we have taken the time to learn how to do it with Krpano ourselves, the same as you have.
I set this application up to be user friendly. Once you build your application with all your hotspots you get a link which you then can use on any site.
That is fair enough but again, it wouldn't suit me. The customers who I have worked for would not want their visitors to leave their site to view their virtual tour.
The idea behind this is that anyone can build a tour in minutes with almost all the features that KRpano offers. We are constantly adding more features to support all the requests. Look at the demo, I built 90 virtual tour scenes and the upload process to build and hyperlink took about 1 hour. This cuts anyones time down in fractions since everything is automated.
Agreed, it would save some time but techically you are only cutting out the XML creation and hosting side of things. Users of your system would still have to shoot the pano, records sound files and video files. Then when they are all in the system the user still has to use the same Krpano interface to position the hotspots, that is what takes the time, for me at least. Looking at your 90 scene example, if there was 3 hotspots in each scene then thats 270 hotspots to postition, resize and rotate. There is no way I could do that in an hour using the standard Krpano interface in your application. Unless I am missing something and there is an easy way to add multiple hotspots to a scene and for them to postitioned automatically?
In my opinion the user interface is unintuitive and you have to jump to different sections and pages to get your pano made. I would have used a Wizard style interface which is a bit more step by step. For the money you are asking I would expect a much more polished product although I understand that you have just gone live.
Thanks.
