Google Map Coordinates

Hello

Please help take the mystery out of getting the google map coordinates right on target - it seems i have to change the coordinates to get it to be even close to the area that i want to display on the map

For example....

In Google Earth the coordinates are ...

LAT 39°31'3.24"N
LNG 92° 7'40.90"W

heres the part in my google.xml where I would place the coordinates to get close but the location on the map is not where it was when i was in google earth - if i put the coords in from google earth into the xml I end up in China somewhere or a blank white map area??

lat="39.60"

lng="-92.12"

So how would one correctly put the xml code for LAT and LNG in the xml from Google Earth an example on what the coordinates above would look like would be very helpful - I read the docs and searched the forum but theres no real world examples there on the translation of the numbers?

I used both position finder and gps coordinates found on this page and was able to get the coords. of MO to be -92 not 92

Try this link to get the map add-ons.
