I saw this video earlier. If you watch the video, be patient enough to watch the end as they show great integration of store names, maps, and other information. Is this feature live?

You would be able to do something similar in krpano using scenes, linear panos, 360 panos, graphics, and the Google maps plugin with a mask. Would it be better to embed two objects and resize the objects when you switch from a linear view to the 360? In other words the both would alreay be loaded and you would just change the width of each object if they are placed side by side. You could use javascript to change the object sizes.
