Generate link to place on gigapano

While looking GigaPanorama of Paris and preparing Gigapanorama of Warsaw, we hit on an idea, it should be possible to indicate a specific point in Gigapanorama for instance, and to send it by an e-mail to a friend etc. Many people were looking for places they work, live in etc. and they would like to share such a findings with others. Unfortunately there is no way to do that at the moment.Maybe the player could have an option to generate a link or a numerical value, which could be typed in and a view would change for a specific one.Probably with php file is possible send some parameters fo flash , but link or parameters must be generated from player . Thanks .

Hi,

it depends on your tour structure how that can be done,

e.g. you could simply add the current xml to the url by editing that line:

Quoted

get(js_htmlpath),'?xml=',get(xml.url),'&view.hlookat=', get(cur_hlookat),'&view.vlookat=', get(cur_vlookat),'&view.fov=', get(cur_fov),
but when you have one global or startup xml and then some 'sub-xml' files for each pano,
it would be better to set a variable for each pano and pass that variable in the url, and then
made a kind of startup action which checks for that variable and loads the right pano,

best regards,
Klaus
