googlemaps embedding problem

Hi ,
i am working on a project and my client wants to have googlemaps on his virtual tour. The problem is that he wants the virtual tour on a CD, and i don't want to give him my sourse code, all i want to give him is a swf file . is there a way to embed , or maybe place the googlemaps.swf is the same folder ?

i think you have to make it a picture... for offline usage.

he wants the tour on a CD so he can upload it himself. he manages his own website.Nevermind the CD, how do i make it to work online , on the web.

If you want to hide the xml, encrypt it with kencrypt. If you have only one xml file, you can embed it while creating the krpano player for the domain.

Edit: Are you talking about the source code for the google maps plugin ? If yes, then create the swf file with source code that you have; You'll need mxmlc compiler (free download from adobe, flex 4).

not the xml , i know how to embed an xml.i am talking about the googlemaps.swf . lets put it this way , how can i embed the google maps plugin into a single swf using kprotect?

Embed the plugin as you embed any other file. I'm not sure about how to use the embedded plugin in the tour. Put the plugin in the same folder as the swf player and then while adding the plugin in the xml..

Hi,

you can embed it normally with the kprotect tool,

but the googlemaps plugin itself always needs web access!
it loads a part of its code from the google servers, and also the map tiles of course,

and note - locally this will not be possible without adjusting the Flash security settings,
that's the security concept of the Flashplayer and can't be changed...
