a magnifying glass

I think a magnifying glass will be interesting especially for museum exibitions and aerial panoramas

no sorry, not at the moment, it would be necessary to render the pano at two resolutions and then mask one of them, and that is currently not possible...

i was thinking about going locally fullscreen in the glass area or set an local different fov.. or scale... maybe tile wise or so..

in a iframe you can move or something like that Tuur ???
And other way is to use an application like this: http://magnifier.sourceforge.net/ but in flash
and put it in krpano ? *blink*

Hi,

if you want just magnifying, regardless of the resolution - it would be possible to write a simple plugin for that:

all the plugin have to do, is to render the area around the mouse cursors
to a bitmap, mask it, and show it scaled,

when there is some time, I will try it, but for someone with actionscript experience, that should be an easy job

Yes, I'm interested! And not only for pano, for object it will be great! But in krpano its just the same plugin for both type of VR, as I understand.
