8mm Sigma fullframe

Hi guys I just bought the famous 8mm Sigma and started playing around but I don't get it...

why people has this kind an image ...

I have this one ... not fullsize?

and then when I switched to 5d mark II everything went fine ;)

u3pog! I'm plannign on getting a 5d mark I I already have a simga 8mm. Can you share some of panoramas shot with the 5d?

i think when you go 5D that you should use a 12 or 15 mm L lens.
Then you have sort of the same as with an 8mm on a cropped camera.
With the 8mm sigma you lose like a thirth of the resolution of the camera on tyhe fullframe because the pictures get round and then you have a lot of black..

I shoot with 50D and 8mm sigma but when i have money for that 5D i spend some money on a good lens.

I use the 15mm fisheye on my 5D Mk II since it uses every pixel on the sensor. That gives me the most detail (equirectangular are 14000x7000)

If I'm shooting a lot of motion like a parade or something, I'll put the 8mm fisheye on it, to get the full circle (180x180). Yes, I lose resolution, but I'm able to capture more, and with a few shots at each compass location on my pano rig, I'm able to go back and fix "half people"

On my 40D and T2i (550D) I use the 8mm
