Problem with accents in Characters in showtext

I am working on a tour for Brazil and we have titles like Eletrônicos and Cosméticos.

On my Macs all titles are correct both in Firefox and Safari.
In my Windows XP and on my Android phone the Eletrônicos shows as Eletro nicos with a square at the space.

'However on AYRTONS Macs he has both the error on the Eletrônicos and also same error on the é in Cosméticos.
Also several of his friends on Mac report the same

However a friend to him with Vista only has the error on Eletrônicos.

The XML is saved as UTF8 and as I said my Macs with english system have no problem.

I found that this has to do with the Flashversion. I have the new 10.2 beta and it looks like it is better than old versions.

I just tested my new Air which has 10.1 and my old MacBook which also has it and they both show same errors as Ayrton has. He also has 10.1

I guess I need to escape these characters. Any advice on this.

I tried to escape them with the standard escape codes like this
Esportes e Eletrônicos
but they just show up in the displayed text.

I never before had a problem with this. Is there a need for a special codetype in the head of the XML?

I tried saving the xml as UTF16 like this site suggest
http://www.w3schools.com/xml/xml_encoding.asp

No change.

Well guys seems to be no other suggestion.

The problem was very simple. Because I do not have some of the portuguese accents on my keyboard I pasted them to my xml from the original panorama filenames.

Apparently this does not give correct coding of them for xml even if the xml is saved correctly in UTF 8 or 16.
You actually have to write the characters in the xml. I had to use my character viewer and use the insert function from it.
