kencrypt : DECODING FAILED

Hi,

I have a partial panorama, I dropped it at "MAKE PANO (MULTIRES) droplet.bat". I edit the xml file add some buttons. When I run the html file, it runs fine I can see the panorama.

I encrypt some files using the command kencrypt on the dos console

exit-fullscreen.png

fullscreen.png

it gives me the files

exit-fullscreen.pnge
fullscreen.pnge

I change the xml to point to the encrypted files.

ERROR: decoding failed - images/fullscreen.pnge
ERROR: decoding failed - images/exit-fullscreen.pnge

What am i doing wrong?

It should be automatic for the .swf file to look for the encrypted file. You shouldn't have to change the xml.

Hi,

encrypted files can be only loaded by a krpano viewer which have the license embedded (e.g. by the kprotect tool),
is this the case?

steps on how to use kprotect tool

Hi Klaus.

Could explain the correct steps on protecting a project ?

How will i start by using the krpano viewer ( kprotect tool)

I know how to install the license for the kprotect tool but its is just to limit files not to be edited but can be used on other domains.

MILO could you explain to Klaus on what you have done?

I think you explained that you run the command from dos and not from kprotect.

MAYBE you can just use the Encryption-Tool TAB from kprotect just to encrypt the images and .XML.

Klaus can we just use the Encryption-Tool TAB from kprotect ?

Do we still have to use the protect tab and embedding tab to generate a protected.SWF file ?
