forum for professionals

If there is not a section that already exists, I would like to propose a 'Professional' section of the forum.
By this I mean an area accesible only to members who would pay a subscription.
In return, the members would receive priority attention from the likes of Klaus and other more experienced users.
My point is that, photography and producing virtual tours is my job, not a hobby. So, when I post a question, which has been frequent as I am on a steep learning curve having converted to KRP from FPP, I need an answer a.s.a.p. I cannot afford to wait for somebody who can help me to stumble across my post.
Any thoughts?

but wouldnt the more proffesional users have to pay too for giving answers? ;) You need a system like stackexchange/site-experts. Where you get credits for answering a question, and need to spent credits to put a question, these credits can alsoo be bought.

I don't agree with this at all.
It would be nice when docs and example codes
are complete.

You have to invest and learn things, Also when you are a 'pro'.
And i don't think you get an answer quicker when you pay.
And i also think Klaus doesn't wants to make that difference on THE forum
i think zephyrs idea is great but please no money involved.

Who's to say the pros would visit that part more often??? Would they be compensated?? Who determines what a pro is? I have professional below my name on the forum but that is only because I post too much. *whistling* Maybe what would be better is a category where a person could request and offer a fee for something to be done for them. Kind of free lance type of thing but this forum is one of the most helpful forums I know. Having something like you are mentioning might cause more problems than good.

Just my 2 cents!

Hi Tuur,
I'm not sure if you are referring to my post requesting help on a scaling problem when you wrote this...?
I did post up a section of code which I thought was enough info and relevent to the previous content of the post.
If not, please let me know.

I am aware that, as a 'pro' I have to learn new stuff and try to keep up with a fast developing and constantly changing environment.
But when I have tried everything I can within my, at the moment, limited understanding of KRPano's xml structure and I start to think that... well, maybe what I'm trying to do isn't even possible, then I have no other option but to ask for help in the forum.... isn't that what it's for?
I appreciate the time that all of you guys put into the forum to help us begginers as I am sure you are all as busy as I am and, I agree with Jarred that this is a very friendly and helpful forum.
My only small beef was that it's frustrating waiting 5 days for an answer to something that, I'm pretty sure, would take one of you more experienced coders 30 seconds to solve.

By the way, where can I find the KRPano Bar?

i still think it is a good idea. but it would mean more time for klaus to support forums he may not be interested in. if i pay for extra support i would expect that forum to be gone through at least once a day and answers provided to best possible. how much would one charge in order to make that something klaus would concider is another story. not that some of us who can help wouldnt but i would expect the 'master' to chime in his thoughts on any question whether another forum member answered it or not.

OT: The KRPano Bar and Cafe

Often used for when it just doesn't fit in any current topics. We do try to keep the subject to the topic here.
