forever. bit.ly does not reuse or delete any links ever. myself i have not had problems with the ? it always parses. i have found that there are differnet types of escaping. some sites say the # sign is &#35 but that did not work for me with facebook or email. i found another site which uses all % and the # sign there was %26 which in krpano would be %%26. If you escape using only % values it would have workd.
