Panoramic Photography

Hi all
I'm not sure either I'm in right place or not, but hope help from you guys.
Since last six months I'm using krpano viewer. Actually I'm .net developer but to implement krpano on the base on our cms system, I decided to work on it. It's very easy to understand to me cuz I can understand xml very well. Now I'm planning to use krpano as my hobby also like taking photos of natural and cultural places and implement it with krpano. I spend one months on research on cameras and tools which can be used to take 360x180 photographs. But I'm still in confused which is best one. I found canon g series camera useful and tools like in 0-360.com and pano-pro but as I know it's not supportable 360x180. So can any one suggest me best and easy tools? I'm not a professional photographer so I prefer one shot base tools.
Thanks
