imageadjust plugin

I have added a new plugin to the fov_plugins package that allows you to set the brightness/contrast as well as hue/saturation. Additionally it will let you blur the krpano view.

The example linked in that page contains a couple of sliders near the bottom that will let you change the available parameters.

Currently the plugin only applies the adjustments to the image layer. Hotspots and plugins are not affected.

Are there any other image adjustments you would like to be able to make to the view?

I am already thinking about the ability to adjust only a (rectangular or masked) part of the view.

The mask I was talking about will lie on the view like a plugin does, not in the panorama like a (distorted) hotspot. So a polygonal mask would be of little use. The use of a (rectangular) mask would be so you can for example make a darkened "box" as a background for an information pane.

Small bug

Hi!

First and foremost thanks for the wonderful work with this plugin. If <display> tag is used with stillquality10="HIGHSHAPRH", it overrides the brightness, contrast etc. filter after each movement.
Secondly, shall i ask for an externally reachable procedure that allows us to set all parameters at the same time?

i was wondering if u can use the string plugin here aswell and placeholders etc to make nice curves... and short code.. (those two are very powerfull i think..)
I try to understand it but have a hard time on the plceholders (%1) etc ..

I also think taht it then is possible to move the pano with the mouse... now it's stuck in wait's..

Would somebody give a nice alternative code that does the same sort of?

Could this also be the way for this?

That's a fun panorama to play with the hue with. Looks better is you don't set the saturation too high.

Here's a tip on programming in general. Try to make it read as easily as possible by making the names of variables and actions meaningful. In your code it takes a lot of effort to understand how you are jumping from action to action, and why. If you really can not think of any better names than test_0, test_1, test_etc, then try to at least put them in a meaningful order. And/or add some comments to your xml.

You should be able to use the tween action to do most of what you do:

you're right, sorry for that.. it was midnight and i was having fun playing and suddenly it worked..
I thought, when i started that i could do it in one action... well, i'll keep it in mind and will change the example..

I tried tween but could'n't get it to work.. didn't know the last part of: tween(plugin[imageadjust].hue,180,4,linear,repeatinghueshift);
so i gave up the tween..

Use it as an effect or to sharpen the pano.
Well, i'm not sure if that is exactly what i mean but in photoshop i use high pass for different purposes...

By all means, continue thinking out loud. You never know, a good idea may sprout (eventually ;-)

)

I only use highpass filtering as an intermediate step in imageprocessing, never as an end-result. Correct me if I am wrong, but you would end up with a mostly-gray-with-detailed-edges version of the panorama, right?
