Problem with scroll plugin

Hello,

some visitors have some diifculties to se some of my tours with this very nice plugin; example:

just the first thumbnail appears, and there are no possibiliy to clic are see other..

Do you think it is a version ok krpano? a version of flash (i disabled flash10 for most people to see VR)? a version of browser?

I tested it on, IE, Safari, Opera and FF and it worked perfectly on all of them

can you ask whoever is having problems to give you the information? What browser? what Flash version etc ?

I tested it on friend computer with vista, IE, under flash 9.. i think IE was IE7..

I will ask them (3) about version of OS, version of browser, and version of flash..

Hi,



You can just see the demo on this site, under "plugins" -> "Scrolling Thumbnails"... same behavior there.

That is Windows XP, Flashplayer Win 9, Krpano 1.0.8 beta 6.



(Works fine on same PC in Google Chrome - just noticed, my Chrome uses Flash 10, so that might the issue to)

Hi,

one test a few minutes:

Win XP, Flash 9, ffox 3.x, KRP 1.08: doesn't work (one thumbnail, nothing other..)
with Upgrade flash 10: That's oK..

I have 2 other to test...

Double checked - simply seems like it wont work with flash9. Displays just one thumb.



Request: Can it be possible to put it at what cordinates I like? I use a bit small thumbnails, but this just make the entire plugin to be displayed abit above the bottom of my pano. I'd like for the plugin to display all the way at the bottom, even if I make the thumbnails smaller. Aligning the plugin content to the bottom inside the plugin itelf, should do the trick I guess, as it seems it is aligned to the top of it internally.



Request: Can we have seperate cordinates for the about text as well? :)

Damn, will have to check it on Flash 9, doe anyone know how can I downgrade to flash 9 ? can't find the v9 player on adobe :S edit: found it :)

Rev 7 is ready

COMPLETELY rewritten from scratch using the newest version of the original source.

Flash 9 now works :)

please read the included readme.txt for the changes.

unfortunately it still does not work on Krpano 1.0.8beta 7

but there is a work around if you feel like changing the code.
change

loadXml(TheXML+"?nocache="+getTimer());

to

loadXml("gallery1.xml?nocache="+getTimer());

be sure to use your own xml if its not named gallery1.xml

or wait until Klaus releases a fix :)

Make sure you are using the new Rev 7 version, since that seems to be the Flash 9 bug (you have Flash 9 player?)

That is a satisfactory set of thumbs and text except:
1
If I crank up the value in the initial alpha to get a more visible set of thumbs, the first thumb dims to black.
2
The text has a drop shadow that I cannot see how to remove.

Any thoughts?

i encountered an error in the scrolling thumbnails on a mac using firefox3 i believe. it was very jumpy and the images once faded would not return to the normal opacity. he then tried it using safari and it worked the way ti was supposed to. can anyone else confirm or deny the FF3 issues i encountered?

I am interesting in using the settings from textstyle, I am making a new version of the thumbnails scroller and would like to use the same textstyle.

if its possible, could you post some example code on how to access that ?

yes, that's possible and very easy

you can either access the "textstyle" attributes direct,
e.g:

..


or get the whole "textstyle" object and access the attributes from there,
