How to place a /buttons/map/radar/textfield outside of the panorama

Hello

I would like to create a pano where the control buttons, thumbnails etc are outside of the actual panorama. So when I click on a thumbnail it will only load next panorama and the buttons and map etc stay. (all the exemples I have got with the krpano package shows the thumbnails, buttons etc inside the panorama.

I have tried to give positions

<area x="25%" width="75%" y="0" height="100%" />

and then give the map position

x="0" width="25%" y="0" height="100%"

But it does not work for me. The map dissapears or rest in the panorama.

Am I forced to place all items inside the panorama?

If I build a "skin" it will hide the pnorama?

In short, I like to make a panorama where the actual panorama is shown on, lets say 1/4 of the page and the rest is for navigation buttons, floormap with radar, information text etc.

Greatful for some help. Some example code would be great.

Thank you.

Probably not the best answer...
But you can make a graphic to cover the edges so it looks like the background as well.

Hi panoErik,

Have a look here: plugin[name].parent

Quoted

There are two special predefined parent elements:
  • STAGE - this parent allows to align a plugin OUTSIDE the pano area.
  • ...
SAlut.
