Atomatic thumbs(snapshot) creation! - download
I'm using this. I think it's very useful! and I thought it would be useful to many colleagues

1) Download package, anzip to disk

2) edit this row in z_start_snapshot.bat: (just set QuickPHP.exe path)
for example, if you copy all to E:/snap_shot_webserver folder, then set
start E:/snap_shot_webserver/QuickPHP.exe /Port=333 /Root="%CD%" /DefaultDoc=viewtour.html /Start /StartBrowser

3) place this code in tour xml:

4) copy this files to tour folder:
z_saveSnapshotFoto.php
z_saveSnapshotThumb.php
z_snapshot.swf
z_start_snapshot.bat

5) start z_start_snapshot.bat - virtual server will start.
After that you will see black and white rectangle in lefttop corner of tour window.

6) You can create big snapshot by clicking white rectangle and small by black.
big save in images folder, small save in thumbs folder (dont forget to create them)

note: - if you do it right, then you will see new tab after click black/white rectangle

Absolutely fantastic!!! And it works.

But I have one suggestion: php script making images are called in new window. It's a little bit annoying. It would be much better to call it in named frame (I mean setting particula target). The target frame's name could be setting as plugin atrribute eg:

	Quellcode
1	<plugin name="snapshot" url="z_snapshot.swf" keep="true" zorder="10000" target="myFrame" />

Hi, could someone please explain to me how i can run this script on a linux server? If i click the plugin it calls the php files but it will not generate any image files. Maybe its the PHP configuration for a linux server?
Where have i to create the folders "Images" and "thumbs"?

The folders should be writeable, and Im not sure but I think you need some sort of php image library like imagemagick.

It's been ages Ive looked at the script ;p so im not sure anymore

Snapshot / Ecard / html5?

Hi guys,

i wonder if anyone developed a working plugin for making snapshots?
The dm_camera plugin does appearently not exist anymore, the eCard plugin is flash only...

Is there a working solution for html5 out there?

yes there is a solution out there.
Jerome is working on this plugin, but it is not finished / released yet, as far as i know.
There is some info in the forum about this.. do search for screenshot or snap shot.

Thanks Tuur,

i searched for snapshot, snap shot, screenshot, camera, screengrab, ecard,... - Without final success. This is kind of sad, as i would like to present an example of this tool in use today. I thought i could use the dm_camera plugin, but now the day i would need it, the example website is down. Badluck.

I will keep on searching...
