MAKE OBJECT droplet for iPhone, iPad

Hi Klaus,

Somebody asked me for 360° objects on iPhone.

Can you tell me if you intend to develop this in the future?

How long?

Thanks a lot!

Best regards,

Laurent

Hi,

in future - yes, maybe,
but the moment - a more not, because of the limited iPhone/iPad possibilities and the slow image loading performance there it has a lower priority for me at the moment...

best regards,
Klaus

Hi Klaus,

It's a shame because I already had request from companies targeting youth for fashion accessories: necklaces, watches ... but only if the objects were visible on iPhone.
That will be for later!

Best regards,

Laurent

Just a guess, but maybe this could also be done using the crop-function. Sure you could´nt use fullscreen-images in 1024x768, but at least the iPhone4 should be fast enough to cycle through 12-15 smaller images, giving the impression of rotation.

Best regards,
Nupsi

Thanks a lot Nupsi!

I will test some options, number of images and filesize to see how it goes.

Best regards,

Laurent

gentlemen (especially klaus )

could you imagine the immersive possibilities when you
combine a photographed, or rendered object (e.g. a chair)
on an ipad and use the gyro-plugin ...
you could virtually walk around the object!
