Calling a plugin only when the image is downloaded

Hello there! I'm having some troubles at loading an intro image for a virtual tour, I use a nice and smooth animation to set a plugin at full screen when the pano is opening, my problem tough is that because the image associated to the plugin is big and delays a little to be downloaded all the intro animation doesn't show up and instead the image appears suddenly when it finish downloading. My question is, ¿Is there a way to condition the opening of a plugin for it to be called just when its associated image it has stoped downloading? (Some event like onpreviewcomplete but for any kind of image) Thank you very much, your help is very appreciated! *g*

preload="true" will force it to load before any viewing takes place. if the file it too large you will only see a black screen until it is fully loaded.
