ipad - panos with little vertical fov don#t zoom

link: vtour with (vertically) partial panos
on ipad, panos with small vertical fov (eg 30/-30) aren't zoomable. In the above example, only the second is (which has a vertical fov of 60 / -60)
How could I work around this?

Hi,

the default fovmin setting on the iPhone/iPad is 30,

add a fovmin setting with a lower value to allow more zooming,

e.g.

You could set the field of view to a value that fit your needs, that´s how I do it.
<view ...fov="20" fovmin="10" ... />

will limit also the out-zooming of course,
otherwise you would be also to look out of the viewing range,

yes, but everything is ok on desktops, only ipad doesn't calculate the correct range - except the second pano.
The out zoom is too little and the in zoom too big

seems to be the bug fix (I still used the 1.0.8.12...) XML limitview post why didn't you tell ;-) I have been trying and trying and testing and testing
but the make vtour droplet stores everything in a single swf file - do I have to create the tour all new?

make vtour multires results in 1 swf-file "tour.swf" and 1 js file "tour.js".
To adapt to v 1.0.8.14, what do I have to replace? There is the 1.0.8.14 viewer and the 1.0.8.14 panotools... with 2 js files : "swfkrpano.js" and "krpanoiphone.js".
How to update existing vtour?

the 1.0.8.14 tools (here) include a "krpano Update Tool" - start it and load your old swf and js files into it and run the update,

this tool will replace the viewer part and let the other embedded data unchanged,

for this great tool!
together with settings for fovmin and fovmax (no support for limitview - lookatmin/max on ipad), the range of view can be set correctly now!
