As a starting point for my project, I'm trying to get the panorama at http://krpano.com/plugins/userplugins/fieldofview/gyro/examples/gyro.html to work on my server. So far as I can tell, I have everything set up the same way, but I keep getting an error:
ERROR: plugin[gyro] loading error: gyro.js

I am testing in Safari using iPad emulation. Here is my test site http://livingfynbos.com/Development/sasaki_gyro/gyro.html

Safari reports the following warning for the gyro.js file:
Resource interpreted as image but transferred with MIME type application/x-javascript.

I thought this might be a MIME type configuration issue on the server side, but have tried two different servers to no avail.

Any advice would be appreciated.
