Converting x,y coordinates to ath,atv coordinates for flat pano

I am trying to use image hotspots and add them dynamically to a flat pano, using the screentosphere() function, but the values I get back can't be correct, seeing as to how a flat pano only has really small values.

Is there some other way of doing this ? i.e. mapping the x/y coordinates to the corresponding ath/atv values ?

Hi,

a flat pano is defined as spherical or cylindrical pano with a hfov (=horizontal field of view) of 1.0 degree,

so the pano range is -0.5 to +0.5 degree,

and the hotspots ath/atv values are also inside that range,

best regards,
Klaus
