Panorama Viewer with Javascript only (like StreetView)

Hi, does krpano include a fallback for viewing the panorama with Javascript only?
something like this:
http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documen…etview-map.html

No, you can use the new zoomify http://www.zoomify.com/html5.htm wich use all JS and HTML5
Later Krpano will probably do it

Zoomify? I've visited the link but I can't see how to apply that to a spherical panorama.
Anyway, the viewer from GoogleSV doesn't requiere HTML5, it works in IE8 (even in IE7 mode).
I think it's a nice and very useful fallback when everything else fails (this could be very common in old mobile devices, without Flash CSS3 and HTML5)

Would be very nice to have krpano working without flash or html5.

;). I know. Well, let's hope then that html5 is working in all browsers soon!

Well, I searched a little bit for this and I found out that Pano2VR has a good smooth solution that also works in Firefox:
http://gardengnomesoftware.com/samples/pano2vr_3/mozart/
(I don't want to use that software, but this sample looks good).
I also found this link:
http://www.cheetah3d.com/download/HTML5pano/index.html
This works terrible right now (not smooth), but maybe with some modifications it can be ok.

Maybe you should try this after disabling the flash plugin in Firefox.

It may give you an understanding why Krpano and Pano2VR is not supported in Firefox.

I have not tried it but I would not be surprised if a clean KRpano js pano without any additions of any kind also works in Firefox.

The examples on the website (http://krpano.com/tours/kuchlerhaus/html5only.html for example) only work in Safari, Chromium doesn't work.

But happily I'm reading this:
"The big steps regarding HTML5/Javascript support are now already done with the new krpanoJS viewer. The rendering output - now via CSS 3D Transforms - is only one small part of the viewer, adding also other rendering possibilites (like WebGL) should be not that big thing. "

I think WebGL does work in browsers like Firefox, so I hope it will be supported soon.
