How to load a scene or xml with link external to the player (html or javascript)

Is it possible to make buttons or links outside of the viewer to call actions inside the flash viewer? You can do buttons and links inside the viewer, but I would like to have them outside of the player... possible?

Have a look to the example javascript-interface/js-loadpano that comes inside the Krpano downloaded files...

load a specific scene from external js call?

I understand that I can use the js.loadpano example to load a pano externally, but is there a way to load a specific scene from an external js call?

I have one xml file per tour, and I would like to have an external html menu of the scenes within the tour. If I use the js.loadpano method I would be pulling that xml file and thereby loading the default scene, correct?
