Using Krpano as a Map

USING KRPANO AS A MAP
A little over a year ago we had to design a map for a client. I needed interactive hotspots etc. I was amazed to discover that I could do it with Krpano without having having to develop any actionscript for it. I used a high resolution image and converted it into tiles. Then I calculated the coordinates for the hotspots and programmed it into a MySQL database. The XML that drives the map is dynamically created from php code. I just enable or disable a member of the guild with a virtual switch so I don't touch the XML anymore. At the time I could not figure out a way to create the labels for the hotspots so I made a php script that creates small PNG (with alpha) images that makes the labels for me. When you click on a hotspot to view a member it loads more information about that specific member on the right-hand html portion of the page.
