Limiting the vertical field of view on html5 (ipad, iphone) tours

My understanding is (was) that krpano cannot limit the vertical FoV in html5 (unlike flash) is this still correct? or is there now a workaround.

Some of our clients don't want to see ceiling because they have aircon units, pattern staining etc, so being able to limit verticla FoV would be great on ipad/iphone.

thanks

Tim

ps - big thank you to forum members who always respond so quickly and helpfully *smile*

Limiting the vertical fov is not a problem; the horizontal fov limits are ignored though

html5 limiting vertical FoV

Just doublechecked and still not working on html5, works fine with flash, using the following syntax:

<scene name="pano1" title="pano1">

<view limitview="offrange" vlookat="0" vlookatmin="-60" vlookatmax="60" fovtype="MFOV" fovmax="85" maxpixelzoom="4.0" />

should I be doing something different?

thanks

Tim

Hi,

you need to use - limitview="range" - to get this working also in HTML5,

"offrange" and "fullrange" is currently not supported in HTML5,

best regards,
Klaus
