mousewheel not catching when wmode set to transparent or opaque.

krpano 1.0.8.15 (build 2012-05-04)
It will catch if you change tabs or click the mouse wheel but not scrolling.

Hi,

hmm, there were no changes regarding the mouse wheel fixes...
and on my systems this is still all working...

on which browser and system isn't it working in your case?

and it is also not working on the krpano.com mouse wheel test pages?

e.g. here with normal windowed mode:
http://krpano.com/docu/swfkrpanojs/mouse…sewheelfix.html

and here with transparent and opaque:
http://krpano.com/docu/swfkrpanojs/mouse…ransparent.html

best regards,
Klaus

Those are not fullscreen examples. So if you click on the flash window, it will work.
If you start it fullscreen (100%x100%), flash/krpano has control of the cursor and focus is not set.
If you touch an html overlay, or click to another tab and back it will work. Any click outside the krpano flash will activate the mousewheel when krpano is re-clicked. Browser title, developer window etc.

Well after doing some research, I'm doubtful the problem is solvable for standard tours. "You need to create an html popup to start."
Also, there is no keyboard focus without a mouse click, so if someone didn't have a mouse, they'd wouldn't be able to do squat. Theoretically, you could program keyboard inputs to navigate a tour without a mouse, but you have to get it to respond to the keyboard in the first place!

and of course I find a partial solution as soon as I post..
working for keyboards

Perhaps this should be wrapped into the embed js.

Hi,

I have got some trouble with the mousewheel on Chrome 25 and Firefox 19 whenever I postpone krpano initialization. I came down to the following minimalist example:
Inside index.html =>

Source code

1
2
var viewer;var initPano = function() {    viewer = createPanoViewer({        swf: 'javascript/libs/krpano/pano.swf',        target: 'pano',        width: '1024',
                height: '748'    });    viewer.addVariable('xml', 'panos/pano.xml');    viewer.addParam('wmode', 'opaque');    viewer.useHTML5('auto');};var initPano2 = function() {    viewer.embed();};initPano();setTimeout(initPano2, 100);

The keyboard ctrl/maj zoom is active but the mousewheel doesn't work.

My initial need is to include krpano via require, which implies the load of different libs and thus postpones the initPano function.

Hi,

are you testing locally?
If yes - have you adjusted the Flashplayer security settings ?

Best regards,
Klaus
