Can we use KRPano as panorama engine of SaaS site?

Hello.

I saw a web site of Pixeet (www.pixeet.com).
On that service, panorama movie seemed powered by KRPano.
Pixeet is a SaaS service that user uploads their photos and shared their panorama via internet.
I think the user of Pixeet have no licence of KRPano even they can authorize and distribute
their own panorama powered by KRPano.

Is there any other licence for Pixeet besides ordinary company licence?

Hi,

sorry, I don't know Pixeet or what a SaaS site is, but redistributing the krpano licenses itself is not allowed of course!
Every pano creator would need to have his own krpano license when he wants to redistribute his panos.

I think he means its like 360cities.. Not a service where it builds tours for re-distribution.

SaaS service means ASP service.
Users of Pixeet can distribute their own
panorama through that service.

The mechanism is following.
When user uploads panorama image to
Pixeet server, a server genarate
KRPano based panorama movie
automatically. Then user add a link
to that panorama on his own web site or
facebook page.

If the user only can view the tour, it would not violate terms right? Else this would mean, that every tour send to the client would violate it (and you need to buy a license per client). But if the user could download the tour, and then re-sell it to the client, then it would violate terms ofcourse. With these kind of services it's vague who the user is and who the client.

But what does it mather? Krpano is only 129,- euro (with ipad). You earn that back with 1 client.
