loadpano freezes panorama

Hi all,

I tried for several hours to add some more functionality to my pano page. After a click on a hotspot I try to load a new panorama with:
loadpano(http://www.riesenbild.ch/dynamicXml/krpano2.xml,NULL,KEEPBASE|KEEPPLUGINS,BLEND(1));

But the new panorama won't load. Only the old panorama freezes and doesn't move any more.

The log doesn't show any error - therefore I have no idea what I have done wrong *sad* .

You can find my pano here: http://www.riesenbild.ch/einsiedeln
Xml: http://www.riesenbild.ch/dynamicXml/krpa…name=einsiedeln

Can someone please give me a hint why my hotspot is not working?

kprano version: 10.0.8.14
regards,
marco

calling twice

I had similar problem and my solution was to separate the start up page on two different .xml as I found that I was trying to load twice same plugin, one at start up and another when loading the pano. And it did actually similar to what you mention, freezing the image and even the browser. So my start up only load the plugin, and the plug in load the rest. This is my case, may be help you to understand yours.

two different .xml files?

Hi Alfonso,

Do you mean with "two different .xml" splitting the current xml in two files and embedd the second one in the first one with the include tag?
Or do you just mean having a seperate xml file for the first panorama and then for the second panorama (after click on hotspot) another xml file? I have already implemented this second scenario by copying the xml file (first is krpano.xml, second is krpano2.xml) but that doesn't change anything at all.

kind regards,
marco

It was a bug - works now with the new (not yet official) version 1.0.8.15

A very very odd thought just came into my mind - perhaps I am not as stupid as I thought and the error just comes from a krpano bug? I uploaded the newest pre-release viewer version and suddenly everything works just fine.

Now I am very happy *g*
