Need help getting started + how to I create tours with iPhone/iPad gyroscope?

I've done lots of reading - too much reading on how to create virtual tours
I've got a basic idea - take pics all around and use software to stitch the photos together

Question: what software should I use?
Is Krpano all I need to use? I'm a bit confused how it differs from other solutions available
Is Krpano the complete solution for me?

Question: what do I need to use the gyroscope feature on iPhone 4 and newer iPads?
I didn't see this referenced in the website - is it a capability?

EDIT: the main market I want to publish for is HTML5 - so it can be used by iPhone and iPads - but also want Flash versions so Androids can use as well

Krpano is a viewer, not a stitcher.

thanks for the quick reply
i'll read further about the plugin

so... all i need to supply is a ready made stitched image?
if so - are there any recommended softwares?
i'm looking at kolor - expensive - but the most well presented website. i've seen plenty of others though
can i have some recommendations?

I personally use PTGui. I like it. I have not tried any other stitchers.
