temporary file

It would be GREAT to be able to save temporary files.. for instance, in a very complex tour or in a game, to save the "status" of the thing! scene, variables set ecc. ecc. Maybe a small .txt or xml file.

There are quite a few options for in-browser projects, you could simply use good old cookies, but now there is also the html5's localstorage/webstorage . For AS3 only solution, you could use the "SharedObjects " class.

Check out this link if you're looking into it ... http://active.tutsplus.com/tutorials/act…avascript-apps/

How you would use this really depends on your specific project ...

uh, thanx for the precious infos...
They are all going beyond my knowledge and comprehension, *cry* but demonstrate that all I'd need is feasable.

I also think that this completes the things... I mean it is feasable to develope an AS-Flash plugin that loads and saves thre status. Ok, not feasable for non-coders like me.
I think this is a bit beyond the common sense of panoramas and tours, but may be interesing for someone. I'd file it more like "new plugin request"
