tour maps

The positioning of "mappoints" on a custom map seems somewhat a guess game... X= then Y= and hope its where it should be.
I don't know if there is a way to point them with a GUI... if anyone knows tell me.

What I found is; using photoshop there is a ruler tool (I) which by draging, will let you know the X & Y plus your map offset.

somewhere in the forums here someone created an X and Y offset overlay that you could add to your pano to get the exact X and Y coordinates. I have the overlay at home. Ill try to find the file and link here in the forums later today. i am at work now. it is here somewhere .

Hi,

here you find an image which describes the relation of "align","edge","x","y":
http://krpano.com/docu/xml/#plugin

also note - in the 1.0.8 beta 7, there is the new "parent" possibility,
this allows to align child objects (spots) on a parent object (map),

best regards,
Klaus
