Hello MarcW.

To get the name like you want put this code

set(plugin[get(thumbname)].scenetitle, get(scene[get(i)].title) );
set(plugin[get(thumbname)].onhover, showtext(get(scenetitle), buttonstyle);); - Dont forget txtstyle on your code on this case is buttonstyle

after this code
set(layer[get(thumbname)].linkedscene, get(scene[get(i)].name) );

Great update Klaus! The new <layer> will be very practical, but I'm even more excited about the improved HTML5 support on the desktop. With some time for the older browsers to "rotate out" and a few more improvements, we'll be able to start using <div>'s and the millions of Javascript widgets there are around. Thanks a lot *thumbsup*

Hi,
The Editor plugin seems to have a bug with hotspots...

Try adding the Editor plugin in an example with more than 1 hotspot like as the textstyles.xml for example...
Open the editor you will see that only 1 hospot is listed...
Thanks!
I found the problem - it will be fixed in the next release.

Best regards,
Klaus

I think I ran into a bug when updating a tour to 1.0.8.15. When the underlying element of a plugin is his parent, clicks don't seem to propagate to it, even if "capture" and "bgcapture" are disabled. See here:
http://demo.digisfera.pt/krpano-stuff/click-propagation/

XML:
http://demo.digisfera.pt/krpano-stuff/cl…tion/krpano.xml

If 'parent="circle"' is removed, then the example works well.

Isn't it possible to use Fullscreen on html5 player? That would be a nice feature.

Another slight issue, when you have a container inside a plugin inside a container, it doesn't seem to show up:
http://demo.digisfera.pt/krpano-stuff/layers-plugins/ . If you use "parent" it's ok.

XML code: http://demo.digisfera.pt/krpano-stuff/la…gins/krpano.xml

By the way, would it be possible to have a <container> tag? I think it would make syntax clearer.

Hi Klaus, if I want to put an image in place of bing maps, what I need to do to open the same way that opens the map?
Is it possible?

Thank you very much.

The problem in that example is the missing 'name' setting for the circle <plugin> element.
Just add a name for it and it should work.

Maybe... I will think about it.

Yes, of course.
I will try to provide an example for that in the next release/update.

Hi Klaus. 1.08.15 has problems on my Google Nexus 7 tablet (Android 4.1). Any face that is in the middle will display fine, all other faces are black. The pages are there, if I drag a "black face" until it hits the middle of the screen it instantly becomes visible - and the first face goes black. I found if I carefully line the seam up dead center I can actually make two faces display correctly - until either one moves more than a tiny bit off center.

Klaus, I don't want to reduce your work for this new release in any way. It's an amazing release. And I find the layer concept a very helpful new tool.

But regarding the naming I have the feeling it is implementation driven (layer vs. container vs. image). Sometimes it helps to go the other direction and start from the documention's point of view. How does a newbie find the right statement to add an image and/or an container? Would one really look for a layer statement that gets classified by an attribute? So, I also would appriciate two statements: "container" (or keep "layer") and "image" (even if the flash implentation is almost the same). And having two statements for two different things makes the xml by far more readable.

Michael

The problem in that example is the missing 'name' setting for the circle element.
Just add a name for it and it should work.

Thanks! That fixed a couple of issues I was having. It would be nice if the name were automatically generated as in the "regular" case though.

All the best,
Manuel

A little help

Hi Klaus,
Amazing work as always. Loving all of these new automated features... but one is giving me a headache - the Bing Maps mapspot.
Typically, users who access Bing or Google maps are confronted with onclick information callouts for points on the map. But instead, you have them setup to hop from one pano to the next. Neat idea, but I'm not sure that's the best for those of us creating tours for single clients at a single location. With respect, that is what the area/building maps are for.
Most of my clients need the map for directions and information, maybe a logo or picture to go along with it. When an internet user tries to access a map for a local business, they are typically looking for directions, and that is the option I need for mapoints.
At this time, creating a mappoint is done via setting lat and lng inside the <scene> tag. If additional parameters were added here, such as an onclick="show_someImage_URL" that automatically pin a callout/image to that scenes mappoint when the map was rendered, it would be a big help.
Any ideas on how i can get this done currently without waiting for a new release? :) At this point, I really just need one mappoint to have an image popup so I can show customers logo and address.

Thanks,
Tony

Hi Klaus!

Amazing work! I'll have to spend several days take a good look at all the new features.
I's great that the documentation is being updated too. You develop Krpano so quick that sometimes is really difficult to keep up.
Isn't it possible to use Fullscreen on html5 player? That would be a nice feature.
Yes, this is something that would be of interest to me too. Is it possible?

Thanks!
