strange issue android

i've a strange issue on android platform, in normal browser everything works fine, as you can see from the below screenshot.

embedding in app in a webview the same url, that's the result:

what's wrong?

That kind of rendering is the buggy 'software rendering' of the Android browser...

Either you need to enable 'hardware rendering' in your app (maybe there are existing some special app settings for this...) or you would need to try to reduce the size of the images, because the browser is also falling back to software rendering when the memory is low.

For us this is happening only on the second loaded panorama or sometimes even later, it seems the memory is not released fast enough or something. Beside the problem with the Gyroscope under Android (it's jumping up and down), this is a major problem for us. It works fine with flash though, only that's no longer an (official) option under Jelly Bean.

Well the Solution - at least for most devices is, to take lower res textures for the cube. We are now down to 512x512 Pixel which is enough for devices running with 1 GB of memory, however it sometimes fails on devices with less RAM or less free RAM. At least it works most of the time now, so no big issue anymore.
